This place is sweeter than honey! Wonderful place, close to Johannesburg though far away from noise and traffic. Easy to reach. With its brand-new facilities the camping site offers hot water, a newly built pool, indoor and outdoor showers and a lovely bonfire place. Everything is clean and well-finished. The owners are extremely sweet and kind and they welcomed us with some typical South African fruits and biscuits: the best way to start our road trip through South Africa! I highly recommend Honey Nest to everyone!

Lovely venue for camping. Honey Nest is a great place to go camping. The proper way with no electricity. Friendly and welcoming owners. It does have neat outdoor showers using a donkey to warm water up and fully functional toilets. You can purchase wood and ice at the venue. Each campsite has it's own braai facilities and water supply. We were 5 adults and 7 children ranging from ages 2 to 13 years old and there were plenty of fun things to do for the kids. Will definitely be camping at Honey Nest again.

A spot away from the maddening crowd, a break from technology and a chance to enjoy nature at its best. This is the place to visit. Hospitality was First Class. Will definitely visit here again, recommendation that this be placed on ones bucket list.

A long weekend spent at Honey Nest. A beautiful relaxing site. Clean ablutions, lovely camping stand, all made for a relaxing restful weekend. For those who enjoy some mountain bike cycling, there is a nice dirt road with no traffic. A great venue which is highly recommended - we will be returning. Thank you to Fanie and Anene for the wonderful hospitality and delicious home made rusks. You have a great venue and I hope more people will experience it.

‘n Baie spesiale kampplek vir diegene wat stilte en die bosveld geniet. Beslis aan te beveel vir almal wat die natuur geniet. Bokke wat deur die kamp loop was baie spesiaal. Eienaars gee persoonlike aandag aan kampeerders.
